DESCRIPTION:NOMA PDX – 2026 Architecture Summer Camp\nHosted by NOMA PDX \nEmpowering young people to affect change in their community through design.  \nJune 25-27 at Portland Community College Cascade Campus Student Union. \nAbout: NOMA PDX’s 3-day Architecture Summer Camp is designed to introduce middle school students to architecture. \nOver the course of the program\, middle school students explore architecture and design using the tools and practices such as sketching\, diagramming\, research\, site visits\, drawing\, and model making\, to create a fully realized project that addresses a community-focused issue. Students are guided and mentored by local architects\, designers\, and community members to develop skills and tools to contribute to their community critically and constructively. \nRegister: For students to participate in this year’s summer camp\, register before May 29\, 2026.
