SUMMARY:SOLD OUT! Sketch Night @ City of Possibility
DESCRIPTION:Fall back in love with the art of drawing at Sketch Night!\nSome consider sketching and model-making – both formerly essential crafts in the design process – to be dying arts in the age of digital creation. You are invited to explore both with AFO at the much-celebrated City of Possibility exhibition\, where more than 50 historic and contemporary architectural models are on display. \nGrab your sketch pad and favorite drawing utensils and join your fellow design enthusiasts for an evening of contemplation and reimagination. Miles Woofter\, Founding Principal of Woofter Bolch Architecture\, and Nicolai Kruger\, Founder of Nicolai Kruger Studio\, will lead the audience in a series of exercises and prompts using the array of architectural models as inspiration. \n\nThis event is free for AFO members and one of their guests. Non-member tickets are available for purchase. \nNot a member yet? Join our movement to educate and inspire Oregonians of all ages and backgrounds to engage in the design of our built environment by becoming a member today!
