We collaborate with you to develop a range of experiences that support your growth and allow you to explore different roles and responsibilities. Opportunities will include collaboration with project teams and clients\, site visits\, community engagement\, project-based design and documentation\, independent research\, and mentorship. Summer internships are hosted in our Portland office\, with opportunities to extend the experience through remote or hybrid work into the school year. We encourage students across all levels of undergraduate and graduate studies to apply. \nSkills\nWe seek students who can communicate with graphics\, artwork\, and writing; who can reflect on their own compelling and formative stories; and who demonstrate a passion and curiosity for learning. We value students who are interested in collaboration and mentorship. \nApplication Process\nPlease send a cover letter\, resume/CV\, and representative samples of creative or analytical work. (We love to see creative work beyond your architectural studies\, especially if you are early in your architectural education.) Material may be sent via PDF attachment but should not exceed 15MB in size. Link to a website showcasing a candidate’s work should be supplementary to the PDF attachment. When presenting collaborative work\, please indicate your role(s) and contributions. This is a full-time\, paid summer internship of at least 10 weeks\, typically beginning in June and extending through August. We know that many students experience barriers to accessing internships. We will work with prospective applicants to reduce these barriers.
