More specifically\, the PSU Arch High Immersion Program is interested in supporting our entire community especially BIPOC\, Latinx\, Queer\, Non-Binary and other marginalized or under-resourced students in addition to first-generation college applicants. The profession of architecture is one of the least diverse in the United States and we specifically designed this program to actively change that\, while also changing how architecture is taught to students from an early age. \nTransportation\, food and materials will all be provided. Most materials will be able to be taken home with you after the summer term. Finally\, we want to remind you that as student from this cohort can apply for our Undergraduate Opportunity Scholarship. DESCRIPTION:You are invited to an event celebrating the hard work of our 2023-24 Architects in Schools students in the Salem area! This is our culminating event of the season\, where participating students exhibit the work they have completed during their Architects in Schools residencies. \nThis Architects in Schools season was another huge success\, reaching thousands of students across the state of Oregon. Over 150 design and building professionals have spent over 3\,000 volunteer hours in classrooms this year\, educating students on the built environment and the process of designing and building communities. \nStudent work will be exhibited at the Frank Lloyd Wright Gordon House on June 1 from 4-6pm.
