SUMMARY:NSBE Portland Professionals - 2024 Scholarship Deadline
DESCRIPTION:The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Portland Professionals is excited to offer their third year of annual scholarships. They will award three (3) academic scholarships in the amount of $2\,000 each to eligible high school graduates and college students. Their mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically\, succeed professionally and positively impact the community. \nSCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CRITERA \n\nApplicant must be a high school graduate\nApplicant must be enrolled or recently accepted to an accredited college\nApplicant must submit one (1) letter of recommendation\nHave lived in Oregon OR attend college in Oregon\nApplicant must identify as Black / African American\nApplicant should have an interest or currently majoring in a science\, technology\, engineering\, or mathematical degree.\n\nScholarship awardees will be asked to provide college registrar verification for Fall 2024 Term. Scholarships will be awarded directly to the educational institution. \nSCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION DEADLINE: May 15\, 2024\nSCHOLARSHIP NOTIFICATION: Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 10\, 2024 \nApply by May 15
