DESCRIPTION:Photo credit: Susan Seubert\nYou’re invited to our annual celebration of our Van Evera Bailey and Pat Sanchez Women’s Fellows while enjoying refreshments and the AFO community.\nOur 2024 VEB Fellow Marta Petteni will present her year-long exploration and findings during her fellowship. Building on her expertise at the intersection of design justice\, research\, and transportation\, Marta conducted research to produce a comprehensive How-to Guide to advance train repurposing as a scalable model for social justice and sustainable development throughout the region. \n2024 VEB Fellow\, Marta Petteni\nYou will also have a chance to meet our 2025 Fellows. Van Evera Bailey Fellow Rand Pinson will explore ways to elevate the Ice Age Floods National Geologic Trail into a cohesive and impactful national park experience.
