DESCRIPTION:ReBuilding Center – Youth Classes – Tiny Tables (Ages 12-17)\nOrganized by ReBuilding Center \nDoes your child love hands-on activities? Are they curious about future careers in the trades? Our youth classes are designed to introduce youth to the world of carpentry\, plumbing\, electrical\, and more while fostering creativity and confidence. \nIn this class you can build a small table\, a plant stand\, night stand\, or maybe a catch-all next to the front door. Using our very simple design and reclaimed lumber\, you’ll make a simple table or bench while gaining skills and confidence to use in future DIY projects. (Maximum size: 24” on each side) \nThis is a project-based class. Come with a basic idea and leave with your new piece of custom furniture! \nTopics covered: \n\n\nMeasuring & marking accurately \n\n\nUsing chop saws safely \n\n\nDrills and drivers \n\n\nUsing finish nail guns \n\n\nSkill level: This workshop is open to youth ages 12-18. No prior experience is necessary. Parent or guardian permission required. \nClass Schedule: Class will run for 2.5 hours with no break planned \nPrice: We have moved to a sliding scale pricing model while funding allows!
