DESCRIPTION:A Cocktail Party and Panel Discussion with Jon Schleuning and SRG Partnership \nJoin us for an evening with Jon Schleuning\, retired Founder of SRG Partnership\, Inc.\, and friends from the design and arts community. Enjoy summer cocktails and tasty appetizers\, hear about Jon’s influence on our City and the Pacific Northwest\, and learn more about how design and creative partnerships can help communities solve some of today’s most pressing challenges. \nOver the past 40 years\, Schleuning helped make Portland what it is today. He is known for his leadership on civic\, education\, science/technology\, and healthcare projects in the Pacific Northwest and California. Schleuning has worked on many Oregon cultural institutions\, such as the Oregon Coast Aquarium\, Mt. St. Helens Visitors Center\, the Portland South Waterfront\, and the Oregon Zoo. He was an early advocate for the urban revitalization of Portland\, co-founded the Architecture Foundation of Oregon\, and was the first architect to lead the City Club of Portland. Schleuning also spearheaded SRG’s research on high-performance buildings. In 2014\, AIA Northwest & Pacific Region also gave Jon Schleuning the Medal of Honor — its highest honor. \nRegister Now\nDine & Design raises money to support the programs of AFO\, including our Architects in Schools program which serves thousands of elementary students per year around Oregon. \n\n\n  \n\n \nACCESSIBILITY: The SRG offices are within 5-minute walking distance of a MAX train and Trimet bus stop. The building is accessible by ramps\, elevators\, and doorways provide necessary clearances for mobility devices. ADA-accessible bathrooms are available.
