UO College of Design – Summer SAIL Application Deadline

University of Oregon College of Design Summer SAIL: Let Art Do the Talking

Organized by University of Oregon College of Design

Eligibility: To qualify to participate, a student must be an Oregon resident enrolled in high school who meets at least one of the following criteria:

  • Low-income: Your family qualifies for State Aid such as SNAP, TANF, FDPIR, WIC, etc.
  • First-generation college student: Your parent(s) or guardian(s) did not complete a 4-year college or university degree
  • Diverse or underrepresented background: From diverse and or underrepresented backgrounds as defined by individuals who feel not proportionally represented. A few examples are; women in STEM, students who are a part of the BIPOC community, students with disabilities, etc.
  • Unaccompanied youth: In state custody, foster care, homeless, or not living with family

Service Area: Eugene/Springfield (students from outside this area can apply for the residential/overnight program and stay on campus)
Topic: Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Product Design, Art, and more
Program Type: Week-long summer program – daytime and residential/overnight options
Cost: Free
