ELSO: Exploring Engineering Day 2026 – Parkrose Middle School

ELSO’s “Studio Justice” program is excited to announce the return of its annual Exploring Engineering Day (EED) on Saturday, March 7th, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at Parkrose Middle School.

If you love music, creative thinking, or solving puzzles, sign up for Exploring Engineering Day! Participants will take on hands-on design challenges and discover how their creativity can be applied to careers in engineering and technology. This year’s Exploring Engineering Day theme is “Engineering to the Beat.” Come work with real DJs and engineering professionals, build a speaker, and create a remix of your favorite song.

This event will include:

• Hands-On Learning: Engage in interactive activities to explore engineering concepts.
• Guest Speakers: Hear from inspiring engineers who will share their experiences and offer advice on pursuing careers in STEAMED fields.
• Free Food & Drinks: Free meal for kids and snacks for adults.
• Special Prizes: Win exciting prizes that highlight the theme of engineering and innovation.

This event is free to attend, but space is limited. Pre-registration is required to secure a spot.
