In 2026, Wayfinders Oregon returns for its 10th year with five unforgettable weeks of hands-on science, outdoor exploration, creativity, and reimagined field trips. The camp is led by our youth interns who make learning joyful, relatable, and empowering. Campers build confidence as science learners, deepen their connection to the natural world, and engage in liberatory education practices that help them see themselves as future innovators, leaders, and change agents. Oregon campers will explore the following themes each week:

Into the Forest (July 6-10): Ecology, wildlife observation, and field science adventures
Dive In (July 13-17): Water science, aquatic ecosystems, and environmental problem-solving
Bots and Beyond (July 20-24): Robotics, makerspace building, prototyping, and math-powered engineering
It’s Electric July (27-31): Circuits, energy, physics, and hands-on experimentation
Discovery Lab (August 3-7): College visits, research institution tours, neuroscience exploration, and science-identity development

This year’s Oregon Wayfinders camp will run from July 6-August 7.
