NSBE Portland Professionals – 2024 Scholarship Deadline

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Portland Professionals is excited to offer their third year of annual scholarships. They will award three (3) academic scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each to eligible high school graduates and college students. Their mission is to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION CRITERA

1. Applicant must be a high school graduate
2. Applicant must be enrolled or recently accepted to an accredited college
3. Applicant must submit one (1) letter of recommendation
4. Have lived in Oregon OR attend college in Oregon
5. Applicant must identify as Black / African American
6. Applicant should have an interest or currently majoring in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematical degree.

Scholarship awardees will be asked to provide college registrar verification for Fall 2024 Term. Scholarships will be awarded directly to the educational institution.

SCHOLARSHIP NOTIFICATION: Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 10, 2024
