Honoring Mark and Ann Edlen

Thank you to all who joined us at the Oregon Convention Center on October 9, 2018 to honor our 2018 Honored Citizens, Mark and Ann Edlen.

Mark and Ann Edlen have a deep commitment to education, healthcare, the arts, sustainability, the built environment, and the future of our city and state.

Mark Edlen is Co-Founder and Chairman of Gerding Edlen Development. Recognized for expertise in sustainable development, the firm is also known for leveraging investment to foster community growth. Mark is a member of the Board of Directors for Ecotrust, the Bullitt Foundation, and the University of Oregon School of Business Advisory Board.

Ann Edlen’s long and diverse career in marketing and advertising began with First Interstate Bank and led to co-founding Think Joule. She is past chair of the OHSU Foundation Board and of Pacific Northwest College of Art’s board where she helped raise $30 million for the school’s capital campaign. Ann also served on the Board of the Portland Art Museum, Jesuit High School, and the Board of Visitors for the University of Oregon School of Architecture and Allied Arts.
