A Conversation with Dan Ryan

July 20, 2021 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Oregon Harbor of Hope, designed by Opsis Architecture, and Portland Commissioner Dan Ryan

Join AFO and SW Huddle Indivisible for a vital discussion with Portland City Commissioner Dan Ryan about houselessness in Portland and how design can be part of the solution.

Commissioner Ryan oversees the Portland Housing Bureau, Joint Office of Homeless Services, Bureau of Development Services and the Portland Children’s Levy. In partnership with Portlanders, the Commissioner is working to develop innovative solutions to complex issues that move our city forward.

Lauren Loosveldt, an architect at Opsis Architecture, will lead a discussion with Ryan about the city’s plan moving forward and how design could play an important role in finding sustainable solutions to one of the most pressing challenges in our community.

Mingle with other AFO constituents who are passionate about this issue and learn more about the City’s vision for the future and how you can be involved.

Light food and drink will be served.

Special thanks to Lease Crutcher Lewis and Carl Vance.
